Clicking the Share Story button launches a small screen to capture the details of your share request. As pictured below, 3 different tabs allow you to choose up to 25 groups, friends, and e-mail addresses to share with. You can add a personalized message that will appear with with share. Once you are done setting up the share, click "Share It!" If all went well, you will see a success message that fades away after a few seconds, telling you how many total recipients received it.

If you share with a group, it works the same way the previously named "Send to Group" feature worked. If you share with an e-mail address, your friend will receive an e-mail from noreply@propeller.com with a subject line "[your member name] wants to share a story with you from Propeller.com". By clicking the story title in the e-mail body, your friend will be able to read your shared story, and if they are a Propeller member, they can log in, prop and comment on it. If they are not a Propeller member, they can click the Join link in the e-mail to become one.
If you share with a Propeller friend, they will receive a message from you that looks like the image below. Your friend will be able to read the title and summary of the story, and can prop (or drop) directly from their messages page.

And that's it! We hope that the Share Story feature helps members promote good news faster. As always, send feedback on this (or any) feature here. We at Propeller are passionate about reading member feedback, so feel free to drop us a line to tell us how we're doing!
Along with Share Story, we have also released a number of performance enhancements that we hope will make an immediate and tangible positive impact on the user experience at Propeller.
Happy Sharing,
