Here is a disturbing slideshow of photos showing security covering the mouth of one of the activists:
Code Pink was founded in response to President George W. Bush's invasion of Iraq, calling on all women to "wage peace." The name -- CODE PINK -- is a play on President Bush's color-coded alert system.
While in Denver for the Democratic National Convention the pair also disrupted, "Unconventional Women," an event at which Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, was speaking to young women. Check here to see a video of the Speaker responding to Code Pink's call to "Talk about the war, Nancy!"
After she was removed from the "Unconventional Women" event, I had a chance to chat briefly with co-founder, Jodie Evans about the group's mission and current actions.

1. Thanks for posting these! I saw the convention live on CNN and did not remember seeing this (at this length). Also during McCain's acceptance speech, there was someone who was removed "forcibly", for which McCain jokingly passed on a remark.
