The Global AIDS Alliance Fund is an organization on the front lines in the fight against HIV/AIDS. At a luncheon at the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO, members of Congress and others were recognized for their work in the struggle against this devastating disease.

Long an actvist for HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and treatment, actor and chairman of the TransAfrica Forum, Danny Glover spoke of the non-discriminating nature of AIDS and the need to combat it at every level, and in every sector of society, domestically as well as abroad (video is 6 minutes long).
